Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fabricated components meet the required quality standards, from material inspection through to final product verification. Familiarity with quality management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, and fabrication drawings is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand fabrication drawing and execute inspection checks at different stages.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of light and medium fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality processes and standards followed in fabrication is necessary.
  • Conduct inward material inspections and in-house component inspections.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and maintaining records in these systems is crucial.
  • Maintain quality documentation and records for various components.
  • Review and check fixtures to suit assembly requirements for fabrication.

Knowledge of QMS is required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication Engineering.
  • Certification of QMS is desirable.
  • NDT level 2 certification is preferred.

Experience: 2-4 years in a fabrication or manufacturing quality control role is desired.
