Senior Site Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong software engineering background and expertise in cloud platforms and operations. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent technical leadership skills, be proficient in DevOps practices, and have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and solution design to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Design and implement strategies to improve platform reliability, including mitigation techniques and operational playbooks
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to enable proactive incident response and minimize downtime
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses and participate in blameless post-mortem exercises to drive improvement
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability and respond to critical incidents
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure as code tools
  • Optimize database performance and ensure high availability to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver observable, resilient software that meets customer expectations
  • Contribute to defining service level indicators, objectives, and agreements across teams to ensure alignment and success

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering roles
  • 1+ year of experience working on a SaaS platform with a focus on scalability and reliability
  • Proficient in PHP/Laravel development and scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and public cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Proven track record in maintaining high-availability, high-performance production environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy) and relevant cloud/Kubernetes certifications
  • MSSQL database management/performance tuning experience and other relevant qualifications
