Job Title: Enterprise Security Specialist

  • This role involves configuring, maintaining and advising on security within the Workday application.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Workday security features and controls, as well as knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain domain security policies, roles and role assignments in Workday.
  • Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security.
  • Maintain awareness of divisional and data security and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in report reviews, ensuring security and data privacy standards are met.
  • Stay updated on new security features within the application's future roadmap and implement where possible.
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls, including configuration and maintenance of domain security policies and roles.
  • Knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations, as well as experience with implementing and enforcing adherence to these standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills, with ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
