Job Title: IT Test Specialist

The role of the IT Test Specialist is to define and implement test strategies, including roadmaps, tools, and services with acceptable service evaluations. The position requires strong awareness of IT SOP management and GxP software validation testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

This specialist will involve in product design to ensure adherence to test coverage for meeting end-user requirements. Additionally, they will organize and monitor defect management processes, handle changes, and conduct regression tests.

The IT Test Specialist must be able to identify, implement, and monitor test metrics to assess the quality of testing services. They should also be able to manage compliance and documentation for IT Operations, Changes, Problems, and Incidents impacting the system.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the validation process for new changes and releases with the Line of Business (LoB) and System Management team, ensuring proper documentation. Furthermore, this professional will participate in audits and inspections related to GxP testing activities and IT systems.

They will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in testing, providing expertise for diversified projects across business units. The IT Test Specialist must also perform stakeholder management to deliver services involving multiple stakeholders.

Required skills include a Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience in IT or the pharmaceutical industry, including expertise in testing strategies, regulatory requirements, and audits.

Additionally, they must have strong awareness of IT SOP management and GxP software validation testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience working in an Agile setup and proficiency in tools like TIMS (HP ALM for creation and execution), Jira, and other related platforms are required.
