Database Architect

The role involves creating and maintaining databases for various applications.

  • Crafting database architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Maintaining high-performance, secure databases.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of database systems, including SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work during US Central time zone hours.
  • Experience working with vendor support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Change Management processes.
  • Experience supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Experience providing Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.
  • Familiarity with AI integrations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
