QA Automation Engineer Position

Overview:

This role involves automation testing with various tools, defect tracking using software like Jira or Azure DevOps, and working within Agile development teams.

  • Automation testing using Cypress, Selenium, or similar end-to-end testing tools for web applications.
  • Proficient in bug tracking systems for reporting and resolution.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work within such development teams.

Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in QA automation with at least 2-3 years in a lead or senior member role.
  • Strong expertise in automated testing using preferred tools like Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps to automate testing workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA concepts including test case design, functional testing, regression testing, and release testing.
  • Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
  • Proficient in bug tracking tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar for efficient defect tracking and resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
