Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Business Analyst to join our EXL team. As a Digital Transformation Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in consulting with clients to identify and solve their business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of management consulting projects from proposal preparation to delivery of final results
- Ability to plan and develop a project idea, design tools for effective management and governance, and deliver to timelines and agreed goals
- Set toll-gates and deadlines, schedule required cadence, track action updates and completion
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed within timelines and with the highest levels of quality of output
- Review and analyze data on business processes and identify areas of opportunity to implement insurance digital transformation solutions
- Perform activity time studies, work decomposition analysis, statistical process analysis with large volumes of data to identify process redundancies/improvement areas and create opportunities for efficiency/revenue gain projects
- Conduct workshops with client SMEs to understand the end-to-end process while identifying any process pain points and the suitability of the process for automation, process reengineering, data analytics or right skilling
- Define data requirements for designing reports/dashboards, identify data sources, perform data pre-processing, design report mock-ups, create reports/dashboards
- Draft business case of identified digital solutions using benefit estimation framework
- Present summary of findings to the client and walk them through to-be design of the re-engineered process
- Understand the risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the project
- Work closely with solution development team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development
- Research innovation and trends related to business, industry and economy as directed by team for use in enhancement of service offerings
- Presentation approachable and professional style while engaging and communicating with others in an effort to build lasting relationships across client and team
Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year experience in project management
- Experience in requirement elicitation, problem solving, senior stakeholder presentations, project management, data management and building reports
- Confident in verbal and written communication, fluent in the English language – spoken and business writing
- Strong analytical skills, natural intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, usage of data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
- Sound understanding of digital transformation and data analytics
