Identity Management Specialist

About the Role:

  • This position requires an experienced professional to support and maintain Identity Management systems.

Description of Responsibilities:

  1. Support and maintenance of Identity Management systems, including IBM ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) and IBM TDI (IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator).
  2. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to these systems in production and non-production environments.
  3. Manage identity lifecycle operations, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, access control, and identity governance.
  4. Perform regular health checks and monitoring to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
  5. Assist with upgrades, patches, and deployments to keep systems up-to-date.
  6. Collaborate with development and security teams to identify and implement improvements.
  7. Document solutions, issues, and workarounds for knowledge sharing and best practices.
  8. Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience working with IBM ISIM and IBM TDI.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining these systems.
  • Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), and governance.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and other directory services.
  • Familiarity with integration protocols, such as SOAP and REST.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
