Job Summary:

The Navigation Integrated Systems (NAVISYS) Professional is the primary point of contact for vessels, fleet superintendents, and partners regarding maintenance and optimization of navigation integrated systems.

About the Role:

  • Compliance with international regulations and rules; implementation of continuous performance improvement plans to ensure operational condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure duties align with quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies;
  • Propose and review a performance improvement plan on a periodic basis;
  • Monitor or organize surveys, health checks, and maintenance of navigation integrated systems;
  • Manage repairs with vessel superintendents/vessel managers, sourcing best solutions with key partners;
  • Support and monitor vessel compliance with flag and class requirements related to navigation integrated systems;
  • Feedback and challenge repair proposals to ensure operational availability;
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of radio and navigation systems onboard;
  • Evaluate and assess partners and key vendors regularly;
  • Prepare budgets in consultation with experts/superintendents/vessel managers;
  • Attend vessels in ports when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics and telecommunications;
  • 3 years' experience in support of vessels preferred;
  • Good knowledge of integrated radio and navigation systems, OT networking, cybersecurity controls;
  • Project management skills, competencies in various software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Query);
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
