Job Title: Experienced Oracle Technical Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Freelance Oracle SOA & HRMS Technical Consultant to support integration and technical development needs in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting Oracle SOA Suite integrations and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) for seamless data exchange between systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and support Oracle SOA Suite integrations and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) for seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Deliver synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk (batch posting) integrations using JSON/XML-based solutions.
  • Perform independent testing of integrations using SOAP/REST and structured methodologies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and customize RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) using PL/SQL, APIs, and Unix shell scripts to enhance system functionality.
  • Work on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits) to provide comprehensive HR solutions.
  • Build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems, ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP) for secure data transfer.
  • Support data migration activities by ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity during the transition process.
  • Identify and map configurational data, navigation screens, and backend tables to establish relationships across scattered data entities, improving system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support, ensuring system uptime and optimal performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 7 years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with a strong focus on HRMS.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) for efficient integration and data exchange.
  • Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components, and Advanced SQL/PLSQL to develop and customize system functionality.
  • Extensive experience with integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP) for secure data transfer and system communication.
  • Familiarity with HRMS data structures and backend navigation to provide comprehensive HR solutions.
  • Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for interfaces to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams in a freelance/remote setup, promoting effective project delivery.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of performance tuning for integrations to optimize system performance.
  • Exposure to Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for enhanced system functionality.
  • Experience with cloud integrations (Fusion HR/Payroll, SaaS systems) for seamless data exchange and system communication.
