Job Title: Strategic Cloud Data Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data processing architectures using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python and SQL to extract, transform, and load data into various data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design scalable data solutions.
  • Implement data security and governance best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java
  • Expertise in data processing frameworks: Apache Beam (Data Flow)
  • Active experience on GCP tools and technologies like Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner, GCS, DBT etc.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools like Apache Airflow
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform is desirable.
