Job Title: Cybersecurity Governance Manager

The primary role of the Cybersecurity Governance Manager is to oversee and manage cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives within an organization. This involves ensuring that all relevant policies, procedures, and standards are in place and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security management systems (ISMS) to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate regular internal and external IT general controls (ITGC) audits and facilitate timely closure of audit observations.
    • Design and maintain ISMS scope, policies, procedures, and statement of applicability documentation.
    • Drive compliance with data protection laws and regulations by conducting thorough data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Risk & Reporting:
    • Conduct regular cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain accurate risk registers to identify and mitigate potential threats.
    • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards to present risk posture and compliance metrics for informed decision-making.
    • Facilitate regular cybersecurity maturity assessments and build improvement roadmaps to enhance overall organizational resilience.
  • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM):
    • Implement robust vendor onboarding processes, conduct thorough due diligence, and maintain ongoing security assessments to ensure third-party vendors meet minimum security standards.
    • Create a centralized vendor inventory with risk classifications to enable effective risk management.
  • User Awareness & Incident Handling:
    • Lead cybersecurity awareness programs through various channels, including learning management systems (LMS), email campaigns, and phishing simulations.
    • Support incident response efforts and track root causes to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
    • Graduation in Computer Science or related field is required.
    • Certifications in ISO 27001:2022 Lead Implementer, SOC 2 Readiness, NIST CSF Practitioner, DPDP/Privacy Law Practitioner, CRISC/CISA are highly desirable.
