Senior Video Editor Position

This role involves editing short and long-form video content for various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Edit video content for social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field. Previous experience in video editing is required, preferably for digital media or social platforms. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential. Additionally, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams are necessary. A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling is also required.
