Job Title: Cost Accountant

Drive Business Efficiency with Strategic Financial Expertise.

Seeking a seasoned and strategic cost management professional to drive financial excellence across our organization. This role requires an expert in cost management, budgeting, financial planning, and compliance who can make informed decisions that fuel growth.

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in costing, accounting, audit, and financial reporting, with strong knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Cost Audit requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing product-wise profitability analysis and gross margin reports, developing monthly cost sheets, standard costing, and inventory valuations, analyzing manufacturing costs and comparing actual costs with standard costs, collecting and analyzing historical cost data for budgeting and forecasting, managing monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial closing processes, preparing and analyzing MIS reports for management decision-making, ensuring accurate reconciliations of accounts, journal entries, and balance sheets, coordinating with auditors (internal & statutory) and handling audit queries, presenting a fair and true financial view of the company in compliance with regulatory requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather cost data, supporting management in planning, organizing, and scheduling project costs, interacting with auditors, vendors, subcontractors, and team members for financial accuracy, assisting in treasury management, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions, evaluating financial data to improve accuracy and completeness, recommending cost control measures and supporting performance improvement initiatives, providing insights on turnover, profitability, and expenditure to management.

CMA / ICWA qualified (or equivalent), strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
