Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Building
    • Design and implement our cloud platform on GCP from scratch, making crucial decisions on everything from network topology to data encryption strategies
    • Implement a robust CI/CD pipeline that enables sub-5 minute deployments
    • Build our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns that will be used for years
  • Security Architecture
    • Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by integrating security into every layer of our infrastructure
    • Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking as foundational principles
    • Develop automated security scanning and remediation systems that make compliance invisible to developers
  • Developer Platform Creation
    • Design a self-service platform that enables developers to provision infrastructure in minutes, not days
    • Create golden paths that make secure and scalable choices the default choice
    • Design observability systems that provide developers with real-time insights
  • Scale Preparation
    • Architect systems that can handle 100x growth without major rewrites
    • Integrate cost optimization into our DNA, making smart resource decisions early
    • Develop disaster recovery and backup systems proactively
