Job Overview

We seek a detail-oriented and analytical Early Stage Investment Expert to join our team. As a key member of the investment team, you will be responsible for conducting market size analysis, evaluating products and services, assessing teams, business models, and financials.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio company management, and ecosystem engagement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on potential investment opportunities, analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and funding histories.
  • Evaluate startups based on deal evaluation metrics, including team assessment, product/service analysis, and financial projections.
  • Prepare detailed investment notes on potential opportunities, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence.
  • Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and startup ecosystems.
  • Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Engage with portfolio companies, assist in preparation of updates, and support founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Make presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) and investor updates.

Requirements:

  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Possess a passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Show ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is highly desirable.
