Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Material Handling Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the design engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop conveying systems, including belt conveyors, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, bucket elevators, and other equipment.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems.
  • Prepare technical specifications for material handling equipment, including reclaimers, stackers, screens, crushers, feeders, and other systems.
  • Develop bill of quantities (BOQ) or bill of materials (BOM) for conveying systems.
  • Procure engineering services for material handling equipment, including datasheet analysis, technical specification development, and vendor document reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-15 years of experience in design engineering with a focus on material handling systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, material handling equipment, and applicable codes and standards (IS/CEMA/ISO).
  • Proficiency in Auto-Cad and MS-Office software.
  • BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
