Business Case Study Writer

The ideal candidate will partner with faculty to research, develop, write, and publish business case studies for academic instruction and publication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, gather industry data, and perform organizational research to create compelling case studies.
  • Collaborate closely with faculty to clarify pedagogical objectives and learning outcomes, ensuring a comprehensive approach.
  • Write engaging case studies including background context, decision points, and teaching notes that meet the highest standards of factual accuracy.
  • Verify information through thorough research and citations, maintaining the integrity of the case studies.
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty and stakeholders, ensuring excellence in written communication.
  • Support the process of preparing cases for external publishing or inclusion in reputable academic outlets.
  • Meet project deadlines and manage multiple case writing assignments simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional time management skills.
Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or a related field; a PhD is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful publication: at least 10 completed and published case studies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, and qualitative analysis, with the ability to extract valuable insights.
  • Familiarity with business case formats and experience working in academic settings, with a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and stakeholders, prioritizing teamwork and effective communication.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
