Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned architect with 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and 7+ years in presales, specifically in cloud & virtualization.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, as well as working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, and CloudStack.
A strong background in virtualization concepts, especially hypervisors like ESXi/KVM, is also essential.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and proposing cloud architecture using open-source orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and propose cloud architecture.
- Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate solutions and communicate key differentiators.
- Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
- Connect technical project requirements with business needs to ensure success.
- Respond to RFIs or RFPs and prepare differentiated solution presentations.
- Manage and deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
- Build relationships and work with partners to find opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
