Network Operations Engineer Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in supporting critical services across network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Provide L1 and L2 support for incidents, troubleshooting, firewall/load balancer requests, and infrastructure changes.
  • BALU Operations: Manage daily operations including alert monitoring and incident resolution.
  • Cloud Collaboration: Collaborate with cloud service providers for integration and remediation tasks.
  • Cloud Deployment: Drive technical discussions across infrastructure and development teams to enable cloud deployment (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Infrastructure Design: Design cloud-based infrastructure solutions aligned with business SLAs.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation including technical diagrams, timelines, and presentations.
  • Migration: Work on migration and re-architecture of on-prem applications to cloud environments.
  • Change Requests: Ensure change requests and incidents are resolved within agreed SLA.
  • Staying Updated: Stay updated on tools and technologies for networking, cloud, and security.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • L1/L2 Support: Experience in providing L1 and L2 support for incidents, troubleshooting, and infrastructure changes.
  • Cloud Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, cloud-based deployments, and migrations.
  • Networking Skills: Proficiency in networking technologies, including firewalls and load balancers.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
