IT Manager

A high-level IT executive is responsible for overseeing the administration of local and cloud servers, network infrastructure, and hardware systems. This individual must possess excellent technical knowledge and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local & Cloud Server Management:
• Administer Windows-based local servers, including file servers, DNS, DHCP, AD, and backup systems. Ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud services — VMs, storage, backups, identity management.
• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery for both local and cloud environments.

• Network & Security Administration:
• Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Configure and maintain firewall policies, intrusion prevention systems, and network access control.
• Ensure data security compliance, endpoint protection, and identity/access management across platforms.

• Hardware & Systems Support:
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, and related IT hardware.
• Handle routine maintenance, patching, and performance optimization.
• Manage and maintain Wi-Fi networks, access points, and user authentication.

• CCTV Support:
• Provide basic support for CCTV systems including NVR monitoring and storage backup checks.

• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, network configurations, and IT procedures.
• Assist with IT audits, asset tracking, and compliance documentation as needed.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in system and network administration in a hybrid (cloud + local) setup.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN).
• Proficient in firewall setup and management (Fortinet, Sophos, or equivalent).
• Experience with hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and replacements.
• Familiarity with CCTV/IP camera basics and network storage monitoring is a plus.
