Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Manager to lead our credit operations.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 18-20 years of experience in handling credit functions in banking or non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
  • A strong background in leading credit teams, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Extensive knowledge of credit policy and processes in lending and leasing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporate clients, with exposure to multiple asset classes.
  • Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Certified Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) Finance from a reputable business school.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities.

Tech Skills:

  • Understanding of lending norms.
  • Familiarity with CIBIL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk Professional with 15+ years of experience.
  • Exposure to new-age underwriting/assessment tools and technology.
  • Past experience of handling large and senior teams.
