Key Project Management Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee project teams to ensure successful completion of Skid Module projects from inception to delivery.
  2. Develop in-depth knowledge of fabrication practices, industry standards, and best practices for Skids and its components.
  3. Maintain awareness of various manufacturing techniques and schedules of Skid Modules to drive efficiency and productivity.
  4. Lead capability to organize and manage entire Skid projects across multiple plants for seamless execution.
  5. Achieve customer satisfaction by establishing clear objectives, standards, and production schedules with effective cost and delivery management.
  6. Optimize resource allocation for various projects, production planning, and maintenance activities in line with requirements.
  7. Familiarity with ASME standards, IBR codes, EN codes, and lean manufacturing techniques is essential.
  8. Prepare and negotiate change orders, secure milestone payments, and ensure timely delivery to avoid delays.
  9. Manage commercial aspects, contract conditions, material requirements planning (MRP), and mitigate material risks effectively.
  10. Oversee capacity planning, implement best inventory practices, and coordinate with design teams, project teams, purchase teams, vendors, and suppliers to align with monthly production plans.
  11. Drive continuous improvement in vendor development and selection, participating in root cause analysis and collaborating on corrective and preventive strategies with operations and procurement teams.

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of computers (MS Office)
  • Understanding of commercial/contractual terms
  • Knowledge of ASME, IBR, EN Codes
  • Experience in MS Project
  • Ability to review and analyze MTO, drawings, technical documents to identify scope of work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15-20 years of experience in projects management of Skids/Process Modules
  • Exposure in Static Equipment/Boiler Pressure Parts/Spools will be an added advantage
