Software Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain integrations with various software systems. This is a full-time, remote role where you will be responsible for developing software solutions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous integration processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Develop scalable integration solutions by understanding the nuances of downstream systems.
  • Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient integration pipelines ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Collaboration: Engage with third-party platforms to identify and implement new features and updates.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve integration-related issues ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Infrastructure Improvement: Continuously improve backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations.
  • Monitoring: Monitor and track daily integration status, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Backend Web Development: 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • TypeScript Proficiency: Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • OOP Familiarity: Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms.
  • Automated Testing: Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  • API Development: Strong understanding of API development, including RESTful APIs and SOAP XML.
  • Message Queues: Experience working with message queues and understanding of pub-sub architectures in distributed systems.
  • Databases: Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management.
  • Development Tools: Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code (or any preferred IDE).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment.
  • Integration Expertise: Experience with integrating third-party systems and optimizing data flow between platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Frontend Development: Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks.
  • Hospitality Tech Experience: Experience working in the hospitality tech industry or with Property Management System (PMS) integrations.
  • Cloud-Based Architectures: Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure automation.
