
Strategic Communications Leader

Job Overview
The Account Director is responsible for leading a team in crafting and executing strategic communication solutions for clients.
This key leadership role requires a deep understanding of integrated communications, stakeholder management, and business development.
The Director works closely with internal teams, external partners, and client CXOs to bring strategies to life across traditional and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow client relationships at operational and leadership levels through regular advocacy and crisis management.
- Translate overall strategies into actionable plans and ensure timely delivery by the team.
- Develop award-winning ideas to drive results and brand influence for clients.
- Build/improve relationship with senior journalists and influencers across the country.
- Oversee national media universe development and maintenance for all clients.
- Guide Account Managers in tracking news trends and pitching stories to secure media coverage.
- Drive new business opportunities through client pitches focused on social and digital strategy, campaign analytics, and media monitoring.
- Direct Account Manager in client retention, improvement of Client Satisfaction Score, and cost management of client portfolio.
- Coach and mentor a team of highly engaged individuals and empower them to succeed in their careers.
- Network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the B2B/B2C technology landscape.
- Promote a positive work environment by effectively addressing and resolving conflicts.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/PR/Journalism from a reputed institute or MBA in Marketing.
- 10-13 years' experience in a PR Agency.
