Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

Transform existing enterprise cloud setups and drive improvements in availability, scalability, security, and infrastructure automation.

Assess client GCP environments, recommend improvements, and implement changes safely using Infrastructure as Code where possible. This includes designing/modifying architectures using GCP services such as VPC, subnets, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, IAM, Service Accounts, Secrets Manager.

Configure Cloud SQL / Spanner / Memorystore / BigQuery as relevant, set up CI/CD with policy checks and environment promotion, and implement monitoring/alerting with Cloud Monitoring & Logging. Additionally, harden security (SCC, IAM least-privilege, org policies, VPC-SC, private access) and advise on compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and modifying VPCs and subnets for optimal routing and load balancing
  • Implementing secure authentication and authorization using IAM and Service Accounts
  • Configuring Cloud SQL, Spanner, Memorystore, and BigQuery for data storage and analytics
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines with policy checks and environment promotion
  • Implementing monitoring and alerting using Cloud Monitoring & Logging
  • Hardenning security controls including SCC, IAM least-privilege, org policies, VPC-SC, and private access

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years on GCP, deep knowledge of VPC design, routing/NAT, load balancing, IAM, GKE/containers, Linux fundamentals, and experience introducing controls: org policies, folder/project structure, billing budgets/alerts, SCC.
