We are looking for a skilled and innovative Product Formulator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating new and exciting personal care products using natural ingredients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with experience in formulating and developing new products. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and formulate new personal care products using natural ingredients.
  • Research and implement innovative ingredients and technologies.
  • Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
  • Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
  • Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/Ayurveda is required.
  • Ideal experience includes working in personal care research and development, having formulated own products, and experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products.
  • Preferably, you have good understanding of natural preservatives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.
  • 2+ years of industry experience is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment are necessary.
