Lead Controller Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Controller to oversee our controllership function for multiple business units across India. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the overall process of monthly US GAAP closing, driving accuracy and completeness of financials, and ensuring One Stream, Hyperion, OBIEE, and Oracle financials match with sub-ledgers.

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive closure of open items with Operations, Materials, Sourcing, Finance managers, and other functions, while maintaining good relationships with finance managers and business managers to build a strong control environment across operating units and legal entities.

The ideal candidate will have a qualified Chartered Accountant or CA, CS background with over 10 years of experience in Controllership and Accounting in US MNC, large Indian MNCs having multi-locational presence and manufacturing set up.

A sound financial management, analytical, and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role, along with good knowledge of US GAAP and preparation of IGAAP financials, as well as well-versed with audits management and internal control framework.

Experience of working in Oracle and other integrated ERP will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall process of monthly US GAAP closing
  • Drive accuracy and completeness of financials
  • Ensure One Stream, Hyperion, OBIEE, and Oracle financials match with sub-ledgers
  • Critical review of reconciliations, accounting, and reporting processes to enable accurate and complete financial reporting
  • Drive closure of open items with Operations, Materials, Sourcing, Finance managers, and other functions
  • Regular connect with global Controllership and Finance teams to ensure compliance to the global policies and DOAs while ensuring consistency with local requirements
Requirements:
