  • Payment Posting: Verify and post payments from insurance companies and patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements and fee schedules.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile payments and adjustments to expected amounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on payment posting activities, including payment trends, outstanding balances, and accounts receivable status.
Requirements:
  • Prior Experience: 2+ years of experience in payment processing or healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Medical Knowledge: Good understanding of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding systems.
  • Insurance Payer Guidelines: Familiarity with insurance payer guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Billing Systems: Proficient in using healthcare billing systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
