Lead Data Engineer - Data Quality and Governance

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Lead Data Engineer to lead our data quality and governance initiatives.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. They will also be accountable for developing and enforcing data governance policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data quality and governance strategies
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, including ETL processes and data warehousing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and compliance with organizational goals
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide expert-level guidance on data quality, governance, and related technologies
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, governance, or data quality roles
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Axon/EDC, Unity Catalog (Databricks), DBT, BigQuery, and Databricks
  • Strong understanding of data stewardship principles, metadata management, and data lifecycle policies
  • Experience building data quality dashboards, alerts, and monitoring rules
  • Familiarity with data catalogs, business glossaries, and data domain modeling
