Print Production Manager

Job Description:

At SGK, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Print Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day print execution for our clients. As a Print Production Manager, you will be responsible for driving on-time deliverables through effective project management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing client expectations to ensure timely delivery of print materials.
  • Providing technical support to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Partnering with artwork studios and printers to drive quality prints and consistency.
  • Supporting the design phase through artwork process review and risk identification.
  • Leading conversations with stakeholders during color assessment.
  • Strong project management skills, including tracking project timelines and meeting deadlines.
  • Managing color standards storage and supporting courier arrangements.
  • Taking initiative to resolve challenges and fostering good relationships across stakeholders.
  • Supporting onsite, offsite, and at printer's site as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years progressive print production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in Project/Account management.
  • Familiarity with Color Management or Separation tools.
  • Strong knowledge in various Print methods (Offset, Flexo, or Gravure).
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details and deadlines.
  • Occasional travel required (Local/International).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, & Internet applications.
