Weaving and Stitching Department Lead

Job Summary:

This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, optimizing workforce efficiency, and improving production processes for Geotextile Fabric & Bags.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
    • Oversee weaving and stitching operations, develop production plans, and ensure seamless workflow.
    • Monitor machine performance, enhance production efficiency, and minimize downtime.
    • Maintain accurate reports, analyze data, and drive continuous improvements.
    • Coordinate with procurement team for timely procurement of raw materials.
  • Workforce Management:
    • Manage worker shift schedules to ensure optimal manpower utilization.
    • Train, guide, and mentor employees to enhance skills and productivity.
    • Evaluate worker performance and implement skill development programs.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure all fabric and bag production meets company and industry quality standards.
    • Conduct quality checks, defect analysis, and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain ISO compliance, workplace safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Process Improvements:
    • Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
    • Collaborate with other departments to drive operational improvements.
