Accounting and Finance Leader

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our accounting and finance operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting, finance, GST, income tax, and TDS laws.
  • Responsibilities include monthly GST, TDS remittances, timely filing of GST, TDS returns, finalization of books of accounts, monthly closure of books, preparation of balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statement on a monthly basis.
  • MIS reports should be prepared on a monthly basis.
  • The successful candidate will manage tax compliances and respond to notices served by tax authorities.
  • Internal and statutory audits will be handled with ease.
  • Optimizing tax strategies is a key responsibility.
  • Frequent regulatory changes in indirect taxation must be adapted to.
  • Accurate financial records must be maintained, and timely book closures ensured.
  • Trial balance and GL review must be conducted regularly.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in taxation and accounting roles, preferably in the FMCG sector, is required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is essential.
  • A strong understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax laws is mandatory.
  • Accuracy in maintaining records and preparing reports is crucial.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is necessary.
  • An understanding of the high-volume and fast-paced nature of FMCG accounting processes is vital.
  • Multitasking to handle various responsibilities simultaneously is a must.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, GST, income tax, and TDS laws.
  • Experience in taxation and accounting roles, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
