Job Title: Senior Analog Design Engineer

About the Role:

We seek an exceptional Analog Mixed Signal Macro Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned professional with 3-4 years of hands-on experience, you will be responsible for characterizing Analog Mixed Signal macros, extracting Analog-Digital interface timing models, and correlating them with Hspice simulations for accuracy checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Characterization of Analog Mixed Signal Macros: Utilize your expertise to characterize Analog Mixed Signal macros, ensuring their performance meets the required standards.
  • Analog-Digital Interface Timing Model Extraction: Develop and extract Analog-Digital interface timing models, taking into account the complexities of digital systems.
  • Accuracy Checks: Correlate extracted timing models with Hspice simulations to verify their accuracy and ensure consistency with design specifications.
  • Methodology and Flow Improvements: Continuously evaluate and improve existing methodologies and flows using automation techniques to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to share knowledge, best practices, and findings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in library characterization for Analog Mixed Signal macros is essential.
  • NanoTime Expertise: Must have experience working with NanoTime tools and technologies.
  • Timing Fundamentals: Solid understanding of timing fundamentals is crucial for success in this role.
  • Hspice/Spectre Simulators: Familiarity with Hspice/Spectre simulators is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in shell/perl/tcl or python programming languages for automation purposes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
