We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Cyient. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing control logics in DCS/PLC systems and a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing control logics in DCS/PLC systems based on SAMA sheets and control narratives
  • Developing graphics in DCS/PLC HMI systems based on P&IDs and graphic specifications
  • Preparation of control test cases/instructions and performing logic and graphics testing
  • Review of functional requirements, generation of system design specification, and preparation of technical reports
  • Capture of functional requirements from design documents
  • System engineering and cabinet engineering
  • Creation of macros, control logic sheets, and HMI screens based on functional requirements
  • Test procedure development for logic and graphics testing
  • Performance of engineering, CTE, and functional testing for macros, logic, and HMI screens
  • Creation of test reports to demonstrate compliance with functional requirements
  • Capability to study and modify P&IDs, I/O List, Alarm List, Electrical Load list, Control Narratives, Functional Logic Diagrams, and Cause & Effect Diagrams
  • Development of electrical and control panel schematics and layouts
  • Knowledge of tools like Smart Plant Foundation, INTOOLS, COMOS, Aveva, etc. will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of HAZOP classification is an added advantage
