Job Title: Automation Workflow Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Automation Workflow Engineer to join our team.

As an Automation Workflow Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, modifying, and deploying automation workflows based on program requirements to ensure efficient workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and deploy automation jobs using PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
  • Collaborate with requesters to clarify and gather complete job specifications, promoting effective communication across technical teams.
  • Script automation to handle complex job logic, streamlining process execution and minimizing errors.
  • Perform unit testing and provide QA support to guarantee high-quality results and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage production deployments, including support during off-business hours, ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to automation workflows, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Review and deploy jobs created by federated developers in lower environments, facilitating a smooth development lifecycle.
  • Support job improvements and server migration-related modifications, contributing to continuous improvement and scalability.
  • Work with AWS Glue and AWS S3 for automation job automation and file transfers, leveraging cloud-based technologies for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with automation workflow development and scheduling is mandatory for this role.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Python scripting is essential for success in this position.
  • Experience with OS-level automation, file transfer automation, and Informatica jobs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue job invocation and AWS S3 file upload/download is required.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot workflow and deployment issues is crucial for this role.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams are necessary for success in this position.
