Leadership Fabrication Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced leadership professional to drive our end-to-end fabrication activities across multiple units. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Excellence: Lead and manage the fabrication team to ensure timely project completion, quality standards, and safety regulations are met.
  2. Fabrication Strategy: Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements.
  3. Process Optimization: Drive process improvements, automation, and lean manufacturing practices to increase productivity and efficiency.
  4. Resource Planning: Plan manpower, machine loading, and material availability effectively to meet production demands.
  5. Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and mentor the fabrication team for performance enhancement.
  6. Documentation Management: Maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.
  7. Vendor Relationships: Manage subcontracting activities and vendor performance, if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication (as relevant).
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
