In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and scale next-generation analytics platforms in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Develop scalable data solutions using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion-to-insight workflows.
  • Technical Solutions: Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive efficient data management practices.
  • CICD/IaC Practices: Establish Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and Infrastructure as Code practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Governance and Security: Ensure governance, security, and compliance through integration with Purview.
  • Workload Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot Fabric workloads for optimal performance.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date on new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Data Engineering Experience: 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
  • Hands-on Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Programming Skills: Strong skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark.
  • Azure Services: Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • IaC Tools and Governance: Familiarity with IaC tools (ARM/Terraform) and data governance practices.
  • Nice to Have: Power BI, Azure Databricks, or ML/AI exposure.

Essential Skills:

  • Unified Analytics Design: Strong understanding of Lakehouse and unified analytics design principles.
  • Pipeline Building: Ability to build both batch and real-time pipelines for efficient data processing.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills for successful project delivery.
  • Adaptability: Adaptive and proactive approach to fast-evolving tech landscapes.
