Job Description

Company Overview: NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur is a leading institution in the field of pharmaceutical technology. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to lead our department as a Principal of Pharmacy.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

The Department Head for Pharmaceutical Technology will be responsible for leading the entire spectrum of Pharmaceutical Technology programs, driving their success and impact. This includes fostering strong industry alliances, internships, and placement opportunities for students, spearheading curriculum delivery, mentoring students, and imparting the skills and knowledge necessary for their professional advancement.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Pharmacy, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in academia and administration. They should have a proven track record of driving revenue targets, supporting sales and marketing teams, and contributing to various aspects essential for program success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Career Development: Foster strong industry alliances, internships, and placement opportunities for students.
  • Spearhead Curriculum Delivery: Mentor students, and impart the skills and knowledge necessary for their professional advancement.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Drive revenue targets based on student fees, short-term certifications, and consultancy.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Teams: Support the sales and marketing team with webinars, training sessions, and related initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: PhD in Pharmacy, with a minimum of 20 years of experience in academia and administration.
  • Experience: Strong industry experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Proven track record of driving revenue targets, supporting sales and marketing teams, and contributing to various aspects essential for program success.
