Job Role:

The AI/ML Analyst - Expert will work closely with business and IT teams to implement advanced AI/ML solutions in the Oil & Gas sector.

This role focuses on applying AI/ML techniques to extract meaningful insights, generate recommendations, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Analyse complex business requirements and domain-specific data from E&P, O&M, Supply Chain, and HSE datasets.
  • Translate business problems into technical AI/ML solution designs, including feature engineering and model selection.
  • Apply AI/ML algorithms—predictive modelling, anomaly detection, time series forecasting, reinforcement learning—to large-scale datasets.
  • Implement MLOps best practices covering deployment, monitoring, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Work with big data ecosystems such as Apache Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and data platforms (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Ensure data governance by enforcing data privacy, ethical AI, bias mitigation, and explainability using frameworks like SHAP or LIME.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data architects, and business stakeholders through requirements planning, documentation, and validation.
  • Continuously research and incorporate emerging AI/ML and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) into solutions.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience (8–10 years) in AI/ML roles with strong exposure to Oil & Gas (E&P, reservoir, drilling, logistics).
  • Hands-on expertise in Python, R, Scala, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Solid understanding of big data technologies and cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform)
  • Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with safety and compliance standards in Oil & Gas industry.
