About the Role : We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in GenAI to analyse data, build AI models, and develop innovative solutions that address complex business challenges. This role is central to transforming data into actionable insights using advanced generative techniques. Location : Kolkata. Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and preprocess large datasets for training AI/GenAI models.
  • Research and implement GenAI techniques, including GANs, VAEs, and transformers, for targeted business use cases.
  • Develop and fine-tune AI models, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI/GenAI solutions.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate and improve model performance.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Ensure ethical and secure use of data in all AI/GenAI projects.

Qualifications :

  • Engineering degree (BE/BTech) or MSc in Computer Science, Physics, or a related scientific field with a strong mathematical foundation.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Data & Analytics, with hands-on exposure to GenAI techniques.
  • Expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and transformer-based models like BERT or GPT.
  • Familiarity with GenAI-specific libraries such as Hugging

Face Transformers, LangChain, or OpenAI API.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python and R.
