Senior Operations Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the organization, including staffing, training, and ensuring exceptional client service.

  • Manage all operational aspects, including staffing and training.

  • Monitor day-to-day operations and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and manage Operations Managers and staff.
  • Set individual and team goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Provide guidance and support to Operations Managers in meeting team and individual targets.
  • Ensure smooth communication between senior management and the operational teams.
  • Performance Monitoring and KPIs:
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for teams and individual performance.
  • Analyze data to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery and problem resolution to meet client needs.
  • Process Development and Improvement:
  • Assist the Operations Director in crafting and improving operational procedures and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Multitasking and Time Management:
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and take actionable steps based on findings.
  • Proficiency in creating and analyzing reports to ensure effective operations management.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ideas, expectations, and progress to staff, clients, and senior management.
  • Ability to conduct regular meetings, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong computer skills, especially proficiency in MS Office applications and Google applications for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
  • Stress Management and Resilience:
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain a calm demeanor, and lead teams through challenging situations.
