Job Title: Lead Solution Architect

As a Lead Solution Architect at Fujitsu, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's IT infrastructure solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that the infrastructure meets business needs, remains secure, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure solutions, including network architecture, server infrastructure, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
  • Consult and review comprehensive infrastructure architecture designs that align with business goals, security requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to understand requirements, assess needs, and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure that the IT infrastructure meets security and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations, by implementing appropriate security measures and controls.
  • Proactively assess risks associated with the IT infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on business operations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation templates, including infrastructure diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the organization's capabilities, value proposition, and proposed solutions, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences, leveraging insights to enhance the organization's bid strategies and positioning.
  • Evaluate and select third-party vendors and technology partners, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions.
  • Mentor and train solution architects of the team, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of 15 years in infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a focus on enterprise-level environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus.
