Job Title: Production Merchandiser

We are seeking an experienced Production Merchandiser to join our team. This role involves overseeing the coordination of garment production, quality control, and delivery.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop yearly and monthly production plans with timelines based on order requirements, capacity, and lead times.
    • Plan and allocate resources, including materials and labor, to ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
    • Monitor vendor performance to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of fabric and trims.
  • Costing and Budgeting:
    • Prepare cost estimates for products, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
    • Manage budgets and track expenses to ensure production costs stay within budget.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish quality standards and guidelines for production, ensuring consistency in product quality.
    • Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of production, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.
    • Manage stock levels to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of production activities, including orders, deliveries, and inspections.
    • Prepare regular reports on production status, costs, and quality.
