Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a role that involves converting older process graphic environments to newer applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Human Machine Interface (HMI) design, configuration, and testing of Distributed Control Systems.

This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to understand complex functional requirements, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the project execution team to deliver quality solutions to customers within given timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing DCS software applications, including human interface systems and associated control logic.
  • Functional Requirements: Understands functional requirements for developing intuitive operator interfaces.
  • Process Graphics: Designs process graphics and graphical elements in HMI to cater to functional requirements.
  • Development and Testing: Develops functional design specifications and test procedures, performs reverse engineering to analyze older functionalities, and implements those in newer applications using equivalent features.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of technical expertise in HMI design, configuration, and testing of Distributed Control Systems, as well as knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries.

Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: 4-5 years of technical expertise in HMI design, configuration, and testing of Distributed Control Systems.
  • Industry Experience: Knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in Visual Basic and basic understanding of TypeScript is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
  • Experience: Experience in DeltaV system.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-directed with the ability to meet challenging schedule requirements, adaptable and flexible in meeting demands, highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
