Process Engineer

We are looking for a process engineer with experience in fiber cable manufacturing. This role demands deep technical expertise and practical experience in Fiber optic cable QA/QC, process of different machines and new product developments. He or she will work across cross-functional teams to work on improvements in the process of different manufacturing lines, project execution for new machines, industrialization of newly developed products etc. The person should be ready to travel to client site for short term as well as long term as per requirement.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with manufacturing plant team to identify issues in production, do root cause analysis and fix them going forward.Work on machines to improve the machine availability and out put of the machineWork with development engineers and plant manufacturing team on manufacturing newly developed products in production environment.Analyze the failures and find possible solutions.Provide hands-on support in fixing issues in manufacturing plants.Work on OEE improvement ideas in the plant.Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and capability building within teams.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeEngineering degree (preferred)6+ years of experience in fiber cable manufacturing in process departmentStrong hands-on experience with:Process engineering in fiber cable manufacturingNew product development cycle for fiber cablesDoing root cause analysis for issues being facedStrong technical analysis capabilitiesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsNice to Have:Background in cable design engineeringExposure to installation practices for fiber optic cablesKnowledge about copper cables manufacturing
