Key Leadership Role: Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global team of skilled engineers in the development and delivery of innovative solutions. The successful candidate will spearhead the implementation and adoption of best engineering practices, foster a culture of continuous innovation, and promote a highly accountable mindset amongst the team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc., and a security-first mindset with good knowledge of common security concepts like authentication, authorization, SAML, API security, encryption, etc.

  • Mentor and lead a global engineering team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Oversight of technical projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to scope and quality standards.
  • Establish engineering standards and practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and execute on product roadmaps and contribute to the technical design and architecture of the platform.

The role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a management role.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc.
  • A security-first mindset with good knowledge of common security concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, cryptocurrency, APIs, and security.
  • Interest in crypto and fintech, including knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Azure technologies.
