Loan Document Specialist

Job Summary:
The position requires an individual to provide good faith estimates, prepare loan documents, and assist in the lending process. The role involves processing commercial and consumer loan applications, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process approved commercial and consumer loan applications using automated software
• Select and manage vendors for title companies, surveyors, appraisers, and other services as needed
• Prepare loan documents, closing instructions, and transmit packages to lenders
• Verify lending compliance issues and report HMDA information
• Assemble and verify accuracy of loan documentation
• Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, and signatures
• Maintain new paid consumer loan files and perform various clerical duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Technology, Maths, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, or Computers
• Post-graduation qualifications such as MBA or PGDM preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
