Senior Structural Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:
- Design and develop structural engineering solutions for oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop basic and detail design engineering activities for assigned projects.
- Prepare and review PFD, P&ID's, project-specific specifications, design calculations, and procurement specifications.
- Interface with other disciplines, user departments, and clients.
- Estimate and perform engineering work related to bids.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil and structural engineering.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, STAAD Foundation, and StaadPro software.
- Conversant in FEM-based connection design tools like Ideastatica.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D tools like Tekla Structure, Navisworks, SPR, etc.
- Experience in jacket and topside pre-service analysis, jacket impact analysis, and fatigue analysis.
- Pile drivability analysis and preparing load calculations.
- Basic knowledge of industrial architecture, PHE, and roadways.
- Hands-on experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design and detailing.
- International codes and standards are desirable.
- Quality checks and quality assurance of reviewed drawings.
Skills:
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Collaboration with project management, estimating, and project controls.
- Strong organizational skills and technical competence.
- Ability to provide supporting design calculations.
- Independent reviewing of analysis files.
- Strong knowledge of strength, buckling, fatigue, and dynamic behavior of structures.
- Familiarity with 3D environment software such as SP3D and TEKLA.
- Leadership skills in medium to large-size projects.
- Process knowledge and ability to develop a team.
- Analytical skills and report writing.
