Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer

Responsible for implementing RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS) and the forthcoming RMI mining standard in India's mica processors and mines.

This role involves establishing gap assessments, supporting processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with RMI standards, and coordinating collective third-party audit protocols.

  • Conduct on-site audits to assess compliance with RMI standards.
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions.
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports, analyze data, and build presentations for the team and stakeholders.

Missions and Responsibilities:

  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans and ensure compliance with RMI workplace and due diligence standards.
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members and liaise with accredited external auditing companies.
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions.
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports, analyze data, and build presentations for the team and stakeholders.

District Level Advocacy in Rajasthan:

  • Build and maintain a network with local district governmental officers/authorities and regularly update them with RMI's progress, planned activities, and challenges.
